Sunday night I locked my keys in
the car at a gas station. My car doesn’t have automatic locks so whenever you
get out the car you have to lock the door by hand. I’m so use to locking my
door when I get out, that it’s just a habit now. It was raining really hard, so I was
rushing to get gas really quick. I hoped out locked my door and slammed it
shut. I realized right then and there that I had locked myself out. I started
to panic a little bit wondering what I was going to do. I asked the guy at the
pump next to me if I could use his cell phone. I called my mom to tell her what
happened. She reminded me that I had an extra car key in my room. I asked the
stranger next to me if he could drive me right around the corner to my boyfriend’s
apartment. They were kind enough to bring me there. I then got into the car
with Greg we drove to my dorm and I was then let into my room by a master key
that the RA had, since of course my room key was on my key chain in the car as
well. Once I got my spare key, we rushed back to the gas station; I opened my
doors and then was relieved that my doors were no longer locked. It was a crazy
night and I was so nervous but everything seemed to work out for me!
